Baby Boomers

Born: 1946-1964 (currently ages 56-74)

71.6 million Americans are Baby Boomers. Once leaders of the countercultural upheavals of the 1960s, the Baby Boomers are now beginning to retire. The majority of Boomers are still in the labor force, and the oldest among them are staying in the labor force at the highest annual rate for people their age in more than a century.
