In comparison, 53% of Gen Xers (born 1965-1980), 61% of Baby Boomers (born 1946-1964), and 81% of Silents (born 1928-1945) were married at the same age. In this study, Millennials are defined as adults ages 23 to 38 years old in 2019, while previous generations are defined as: Generation X (Gen X) were 23 to 38 years old in 2003; Baby Boomers were 23 to 38 in 1987; and members of the Silent Generation were 23 to 38 years old in 1968.
