There were approximately 585,000 Americans participating in registered apprenticeship programs in the U.S. in fiscal year 2018. Ralph, a third year apprentice tinner out of Denver, was drawn to the trade because sheet metal workers make everything by hand. It’s given him an opportunity to learn valuable skills, provide for his family and right some wrongs in his past.
